Chancel Choir sings Sundays at 11:00 a.m. and at special services, and it is open to anyone of high school age or older. Practice is at 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays. Childcare is provided.
Sonrise Choir sings at the 8:30 a.m. “Bread of Life” contemporary service and joins the Chancel Choir for special services. Practice is at 8:00 a.m. each Sunday morning, and is open to anyone of elementary school age or older.
Small Ensembles or Solos for singing or instrumental groups are open to anyone who is interested, not just members of the larger groups. Practice times are flexible, the possibilities are varied, and playing opportunities are up to the group members.
Advanced Adult Bell Choir is open to adults who have had some musical training. This group takes a larger commitment than the singing choir – rehearsals and Sunday participation require attendance because of the nature of this ensemble. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays from 6:30 – 7:30 and one can expect both fun and challenges!
Beginner Adult Bell Choir is meeting beginning January 16, from 6:00 to 6:30 pm. No musical skills are needed for this group. Class size is 12.
Children’s Choirs run concurrently with the school year and are available to children ages 3 (by September 1) through high school. The practice times may vary year to year depending upon the availability of teachers and children. Most of the activities are on Wednesday evenings or Sunday mornings.
